YEA! Rebekah has qualified for the Texas Relays at UT. She runs the 100M Hurdles at 1:30 this Friday. It's a big deal to get invited, so she is excited to say the least. Here is more info about the event.

The District Meet has been changed to April 14-16th (delayed one week). So hopefully she will be ready to do her best.

This past Friday she was the Leander Meet. Weatherman predicted 87 as the high...but it stayed in the 60's. Beka didn't pack her warm stuff, so I had to leave work early to get her cold weather gear...which gave me an opportunity to grab my ski gear...us Texas girls can't take the cold. Here are some videos from the meet.

Pole Vault - cleared 8 feet

Here she is running the 400 dash. The cold damp weather didn't help with her breathing. Please forgive my video taping skills...or the lack of. I get too excited watching her and can't see what she is doing through the view finder.
